@jackerhack I'm glad we are back in an era of small-scale networks again. I had set this up a while ago just to play around with it, only issue is that with all the cloudflare bot protection on these torrent sites and sporadic hostname blocks in India, usenet seems like the only viable way to access content.

@s3thi I think it also skews towards early stages of product development. Nextjs+vercel has been one of those really low friction starter kits for frontend engineers, and it very quickly becomes costly to switch out of it.

@nemo I wanted to setup takahe with multi domain and figure what the minimum config needed was. Plus many mastodon clients don't include the domain in the post, so I would just be '(at)me' which was weird, so figured I'd have to change identities anyway - might as well move the domain.
